Attending events like the Salon Series at the Brenton Hotel has allowed me to meet talented individuals, such as Karen Roarke, and immerse myself in discussions that celebrate the local culture. Rediscovering Newport through its art community has deepened my appreciation for the creative spirit that thrives here.
The Salon Series at the Brenton Hotel’s Library, a gathering that highlights Newport’s rich artistic culture and connects creatives through intimate conversations and art showcases, brings the energy and diversity of work presented reinforced the vibrancy of Newport’s art scene, championed by the Newport Artists Collective and unique spaces like CUSP Art Gallery. It’s incredible to be part of such a passionate community and witness firsthand how art continues to shape and inspire this city. They offer an immersive experience into Newport’s fine art scene, inviting both guests and the local community to enjoy wine, hors d'oeuvres, and intimate conversations with featured artists and gallery owners. Hosted every Thursday night from 5 to 7 PM by the Newport Artists Collective.
