It all began with an idea.
I’m Jimmy Salabert, a media producer, photographer, and videographer with extensive professional experience across broadcast and creative industries. My journey has taken me around the world, but Rhode Island has always held a special place in my heart. After living and working internationally, I’ve returned home to build my own media production company, bringing a wealth of global experience and a passion for storytelling to every project.
I’ve had the privilege of teaching at universities overseas, sharing my knowledge with aspiring creatives in South Korea, Colombia, and Dubai. These experiences not only allowed me to connect with diverse communities but also enriched my understanding of different cultures and perspectives, as I met people from all over the world.
In addition to my teaching, my media work has taken me to remarkable locations such as the Vatican, where I produced captivating segments that showcased its rich history. I’ve also explored the stunning landscapes of Yellowstone, creating visual content that highlighted the beauty of nature. Each of these experiences has profoundly influenced my storytelling approach, shaping how I perceive the world and the narratives I convey through my work.
Additionally, my roots in Cuban culture have played a vital role in shaping my perspective, fueling my passion for storytelling and enhancing my ability to connect with various cultures.
I’ve lived many lives—from teaching in bustling metropolises to producing segments for NBC in some of the most unique locations across the globe. But no matter where life has taken me, Rhode Island has always been my anchor.
I’m thrilled to be back in Rhode Island, where my journey began. It feels incredible to return home and use my experiences to contribute to the community I love. I’m excited to connect with local brands and businesses, helping to create impactful visual narratives that resonate.
